RECORDS BROKEN THIS MONTH

Ø Avg Max Temperatures - Highest for the 1st half of

the month of 32.20°C. Previous high was 31.73°C.

Ø High Max Temps - 1st, 2nd & 3rd hottest Jan days,

also 1st, 3rd & 4th hottest days ever recorded. I recorded 3 days in a row over 40°C, previous high was 2.

Ø Avg Min Temps - Highest for half a month of 20.16°C (2nd half of Jan). Previous high was 19.53°C.

Ø High Min Temps - 1st, 2nd, & 5th hottest Jan nights,

also 1st, 3rd & 10th hottest nights ever recorded. I recorded 8 days in a row over 20°C, previous high was 7.

Ø Max Wind Gust - 61.2 km/h was the highest ever recorded ever, previous high was 55.1 km/h.

Ø Min Wind Chill - Equal highest ever of 21.0°C.

Also, 11.0°C was the 2nd lowest for Jan.

Ø High Max Humidity - Only the 2nd time the

humidity has not reached 100 % for half a month

(2nd half of Jan), other was the 2nd half of Dec 2000.

Ø Avg Min Humidity - 2nd lowest ever for half a month with 30.60 % (1st half of Jan), low is the 2nd half of

Dec 2000 with 29.31 %.

Ø Low Min Humidity - 2nd lowest ever with 16 %, lowest

is 15 % recorded in Jan 2000.
