HAIL REPORTS

SAT 5 OCT 2002      I recorded 0.8 cm sized hail in a very light amount at 4.45 PM (1645). I counted 10 stones

Other reports include: Hail was also observed at my uncle’s (Neil) house in Western Ray Tce & also my auntie’s (Vanessa) house just to our NNW at a similar size, but at an uncountable amount.

SUN 13 OCT 2002    I recorded 0.5 – 1.0 cm sized hail in a light amount at 6.45 PM (1845). I counted about 20 stones

Other reports include: Hail was reported to have fallen like snow in Maitland & was also reported from my friends (Tim) house in Tenambit

Bathurst observed hail in the middle of the Bathurst 1000 race. From what I saw on television, the hail appeared to be small in size and only fell lightly on about one third of the circuit.
