HAIL REPORTS

THU 20 MAR 2003              I recorded 1.0 - 2.0 cm sized hail in a light to moderate amount at 5.00 PM (1700). Also recorded some heavy rain (20.8 mm in 17 mins) and reported back to the BOM as a storm spotter.

Other reports include:         Hail was also observed at my uncle’s (Neil) house in Western Ray Tce & also my auntie’s (Vanessa) house just to our NNW at a similar size. My friend Tim also recorded hail near Maitland.
