Max/Min Data Additions and Alterations
~ All my recordings are now strictly 9am to 9am. Note that some parameters are recorded on different days for the same
24 hour period - standard for the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BoM).
~ Dew-Point Temperature (Max/Min) - Now calculated using FreeWX on my computer. Resolution taken to 1 decimal
place. The time for the Min & Max reading are also logged. This has been back-dated to 1 Jan 2004.
~ Wind Run Total has been added. The best way to explain this one would be for example if you drove your car at 20 km/h
for 24 hours, you would travel 480km. This is how it is calculated. Data recorded from 9 Mar 2004.
~ Heat Index (Max) - Has been added and is also calculated using FreeWX. This has been back-dated to 1 Nov 2003.
~ Air Pressure (Max/Min) - Also been added and is calculated using FreeWX. This has been back-dated to 1 Nov 2003.
~ Grass Temperature (Min) - Also been added and is measured using an Oregan Scientific wireless thermometer. This has
been back-dated to 1 May 2002, though several months in between do not contain any data as yet.
~ Created a long-term average file for Wind Run, Heat Index, Air pressure and Grass Temperature.
This will calculate the following:
Wind Run Total - Min, Max, Average, Low Average & High Average
Heat Index - (Max) High, Average, Low Average & High Average
Air Pressure - (Min) Low, Average, Low Average, High Average, (Max) High, Average, Low Average & High Average.
Grass Temperature - (Min) Low, High, Average, Low Average & High Average
9am & 3pm Set Time Data Observations (Same for both) - All taken from FreeWX
