| Instrument Additions | |||||||||
| ~ Kestrel 1000 - to be used for my mobile wind data observations & also for spot quality control checks for my main | |||||||||
| anemometer. The kestrel 1000 measures wind gusts in the same way as the bureau (ie over a 3 second average that | |||||||||
| is updated every second). | |||||||||
| I also use an 'Anemo Deuta' for the same purposes. Although both are to bureau standard, I have noticed a definite | |||||||||
| difference between the two. | |||||||||
| Instrument Alterations | |||||||||
| ~ On the 25th I covered the bottom of my temp/hum sensor with alfoil. This in conjunction with the top works so far. | |||||||||
