| Hunter Extreme Heat | ||||||||||
| ~ Near record breaking temperatures were observed throughout parts of the hunter on Thu 2nd. Although coastal | ||||||||||
| areas were spared the more extreme temperatures, conditions were made extreme with the higher moisture levels - | ||||||||||
| particularly in areas a short distance from the coast. On this day the Areas further inland received the higher | ||||||||||
| temperatures such as Singleton (44.5°C) & Jerrys Plains (45.5°C). This is interesting when looking back on the new years | ||||||||||
| day heat. ie Singleton broke the hunter record with 45.9°C & Jerrys Plains did not record - wonder what they would have | ||||||||||
| measured? | ||||||||||
