Weather Chases
~ Fri 10 - Chased wind in locally exposed areas. At Riverside Park (RT) I broke records with two of my mobile
anemometers. At 1355 I recorded 58.7km/h with my car anemometer & 56.7km/h with my Kestrel 1000 - both records.
Instrument Alterations
~ On the 31st I covered my ferrite supressor & AWS rain gauge with alfoil to see if this can reduce my erronous data.
I have recently found out that this rain gauge is light sensitive in the same way the temperature/humidity probe is.
So far results do not look promising!
