Continued Anemometer Problems (Wind Speed)
~ I am now certain that my anemometer cups are not turning as freely as they used to. It is easy to see via visual
inspection from ground level. All the people I've spoken to also agree that it is a bearing problem. At this stage it looks
as though it is possible to repair, but until such time I will not be including wind speed data officially. This data will
remain on my website for anyone interested but should only be used as a reference. There is a comment on my 'current
data' page about this toward the bottom.
Slight Rainfall Data Alteration
~ I have recently found out that dew collected in my raingauge should be recorded as rainfall. For this reason I will
now begin recording this as of 1 June. This data however will not be recorded as a rain day.
